According to the Heritage Certificate which accompanies this car, chassis 1R35305 left the factory as a right-hand drive 2+2 Coupe on 28th April 1969, and was sold via a Cardiff dealer to a buyer in Tredegar. It was initially finished in Signal Red with a black leather upholstery, the same colour scheme we see today.

The impressive MOT history shows almost yearly tests and not a single advisory between 2008 and 2024. It's believed that extensive restoration work was carried out in the mid-late 1990s, and only around 3000 miles have been covered since. The car has at some point been fitted with a non-original 4.2-litre XK engine (no. 7A30333-8). Today the odometer reads 29,203.

In addition to the Heritage Certificate, this E-Type comes with a meticulous folder of old receipts, letters, MOTs and valuation certificates dating back to the 1980s.

The owner has applied for a new V5C.
