This Pony has a 289 cubic-inch number matching engine onboard 271hp solid lifter high performance Less than one percent of Pony's produced during its first three years of existence (ending in 1967) were actually equipped with a K-Code engine. These K-Code Ford Mustangs are highly sought-after vehicles, not only because of its relative scarcity, but also because the fact that these engines were the first truly "hi-po" engines available.
